DIMECC and its partners are pleased to announce that our joint work on the SW4E AI Sandbox has been accepted to the Industry Track of the 30th International Conference on Evaluation and Assessment in Software Engineering (EASE 2026).
The paper, “Engineering a Governance-Aware AI Sandbox,” presents the scientific outcomes of the SW4E AI Sandbox initiative. It introduces a practical approach to enabling controlled, traceable, and collaborative AI experimentation across organisations through a multi-tenant sandbox architecture that integrates governance, compliance considerations, and structured evaluation workflows.
These results support more reliable adoption of AI in industry settings and strengthen the foundation for shared experimentation environments within the SW4E ecosystem.

Artikkeli “Engineering a Governance-Aware AI Sandbox” esittelee SW4E AI Sandbox -aloitteen tieteellisiä tuloksia. Työssä kuvataan käytännönläheinen lähestymistapa hallittuun, jäljitettävään ja organisaatioiden väliseen tekoälykokeiluun monivuokralaisarkkitehtuuriin perustuvan sandbox-ympäristön avulla, jossa yhdistyvät ohjausmekanismit, vaatimustenmukaisuus ja rakenteiset arviointikäytännöt.
Tulokset tukevat tekoälyn luotettavampaa käyttöönottoa käytännön toimintaympäristöissä ja vahvistavat SW4E-ekosysteemin yhteisten kokeiluympäristöjen kehittämistä.
